Surayj narrated to us, Abu Awanah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Aghar Abu Muslim, who said: I testify concerning Abu Sa'id and Abu Hurayrah that they both testified concerning the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "Allah grants a respite until, when a third of the night remains, He descends and says: 'Is there anyone asking, that he may be given? Is there anyone seeking forgiveness for a sin? Is there anyone calling, that he may be answered?'"
