Muhammad ibn Ja'far and 'Affan told us, both saying: Shu'bah told us, from 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umayr, from Qaza'ah, who said: I heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri say: I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) four things that pleased and impressed me - 'Affan said: "and delighted me" - he forbade a woman from traveling a two-day journey - 'Affan said: "or two nights" - except with her husband or an unmarriageable male relative.
