حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا فِطْرٌ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ رَجَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ مِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُقَاتِلُ عَلَى تَأْوِيلِهِ كَمَا قَاتَلْتُ عَلَى تَنْزِيلِهِ قَالَ فَقَامَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ فَقَالَ لَا وَلَكِنْ خَاصِفُ النَّعْلِ وَعَلِيٌّ يَخْصِفُ نَعْلَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki' told us, Fitr told us, from Isma'il ibn Raja', from his father, from Abu Sa'id, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Indeed among you is one who will fight for its correct interpretation just as I fought for its revelation." He said: Abu Bakr and 'Umar stood up, but he said, "No, rather it is the mender of the sandal" - and 'Ali was mending his sandal.
