حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِعَلِيٍّ أَنْتَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي.

Waki' told us: Fudayl ibn Marzuq told us, from 'Atiyyah al-'Awfi, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said to 'Ali: "You are to me in the position of Aaron to Moses, except that there is no prophet after me."
