Abd al-Samad ibn Abd al-Warith told us, Abd al-Aziz ibn Muslim told us, Mutarrif told us, from Khalid ibn Abi Nawf, from Salit ibn Ayyub, from the son of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, from his father, who said: I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was performing wudu' from the well of Bud'ah. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, you perform wudu' from it, though whatever filth is thrown is thrown into it?" He said: "Indeed, water is not made impure by anything."
