حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْإِزَارِ شَيْئًا قَالَ نَعَمْ تَعَلَّمْ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ سَاقَيْهِ لَا جُنَاحَ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ وَمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ الْكَعْبَيْنِ هُوَ فِي النَّارِ يَقُولُهَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sufyan told us, from al-Ala' ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Ya'qub, from his father, who said: I asked Abu Sa'id, "Did you hear anything from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about the lower garment?" He said: "Yes indeed - listen well - I heard him say: 'The believer's lower garment reaches to the middle of his shins; there is no blame in what is between that and the ankles, but whatever is below the ankles is in the Fire.'" He said it three times.
