669/866 عن عائشة رضي الله عنها؛ أنها كانت تقول:" الشعر منه حسن ومنه قبيح، خذ بالحسن ودع القبيح، ولقد رويت من شعر كعب بن مالك أشعاراً، منها القصيدة فيها أربعون بيتاً، ودون ذلك".
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) used to say: 'Poetry includes what is good and what is bad. Take the good and leave the bad. I have memorized poetry of Ka'b ibn Malik — some odes of forty verses and some shorter.'
