641/833-(صحيح)عن جابر، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:" إن عشت نهيت أمتي_ إن شاء الله- أن يسمي أحدهم بركة، ونافعاً، وأفلح،(ولا أدري قال:"رافع" أم لا؟)يقال: هاهنا بركة؟ فيقال: ليس ها هنا" فقبض النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ولم ينه عن ذلك.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Jabir reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'If I live, I will forbid my ummah — Allah willing — from naming anyone Barakah, Nafi', or Aflah (and I am not sure if he said Rafi'). One would say: Is Barakah here? And they would say: He is not here.' But the Prophet (peace be upon him) passed away without forbidding it.
