حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، قَالَ حَضَرَ رَجُلاً مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ الْمَوْتُ فَقَالَ إِنِّي مُحَدِّثُكُمْ حَدِيثًا مَا أُحَدِّثُكُمُوهُ إِلاَّ احْتِسَابًا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ لَمْ يَرْفَعْ قَدَمَهُ الْيُمْنَى إِلاَّ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَهُ حَسَنَةً وَلَمْ يَضَعْ قَدَمَهُ الْيُسْرَى إِلاَّ حَطَّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَةً فَلْيُقَرِّبْ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوْ لِيُبَعِّدْ فَإِنْ أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ فَصَلَّى فِي جَمَاعَةٍ غُفِرَ لَهُ فَإِنْ أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ وَقَدْ صَلَّوْا بَعْضًا وَبَقِيَ بَعْضٌ صَلَّى مَا أَدْرَكَ وَأَتَمَّ مَا بَقِيَ كَانَ كَذَلِكَ فَإِنْ أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ وَقَدْ صَلَّوْا فَأَتَمَّ الصَّلاَةَ كَانَ كَذَلِكَ " .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab narrates: 'A man from the Ansar was on his deathbed and said: "I am going to narrate a hadith to you, and I narrate it only seeking reward from Allah. I heard the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) say: 'When one of you performs ablution well and then goes out for the prayer, he does not lift his right foot except that Allah, the Mighty and Glorious, writes a good deed for him, and he does not place his left foot except that Allah, the Mighty and Glorious, removes a sin from him. So let him live near (the mosque) or far. If he comes to the mosque and prays in congregation, he will be forgiven. If he comes to the mosque and the people have prayed part (of the prayer) and some remains, let him pray what he finds and complete what remains — and it will be the same (i.e., he will be forgiven). And if he comes to the mosque and the people have already finished praying, and he completes the prayer (on his own) — it will likewise be the same.'"'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت سعید بن مسیب فرماتے ہیں: ایک انصاری صحابی کو موت آئی تو انہوں نے فرمایا: میں تمہیں ایک حدیث بیان کرتا ہوں صرف ثواب کی نیت سے۔ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو ارشاد فرماتے سنا: جب تم میں سے کوئی اچھی طرح وضو کرے پھر نماز کے لیے نکلے تو وہ اپنا دایاں قدم نہیں اٹھاتا مگر اللہ عزوجل اس کے لیے ایک نیکی لکھ دیتا ہے، اور اپنا بایاں قدم نہیں رکھتا مگر اللہ عزوجل اس کا ایک گناہ مٹا دیتا ہے۔ پس چاہے (گھر) قریب ہو یا دور۔ اگر مسجد آئے اور جماعت سے نماز پڑھے تو اسے بخش دیا جائے گا۔ اگر مسجد آئے اور لوگوں نے کچھ (نماز) پڑھ لی ہو اور کچھ باقی ہو تو جتنی پائے پڑھے اور باقی مکمل کرے — تب بھی اسی طرح (بخشش) ہے۔ اور اگر مسجد آئے اور لوگ نماز پڑھ چکے ہوں تو پوری نماز پڑھے — تب بھی اسی طرح ہے۔
