حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ جُعْثُمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الأَزْهَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحَرَازِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شَرِيقٌ الْهَوْزَنِيُّ، قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ رضى الله عنها فَسَأَلْتُهَا بِمَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَفْتَتِحُ إِذَا هَبَّ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَتْ لَقَدْ سَأَلْتَنِي عَنْ شَىْءٍ مَا سَأَلَنِي عَنْهُ أَحَدٌ قَبْلَكَ كَانَ إِذَا هَبَّ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ كَبَّرَ عَشْرًا وَحَمِدَ عَشْرًا وَقَالَ " سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ " . عَشْرًا وَقَالَ " سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ " . عَشْرًا وَاسْتَغْفَرَ عَشْرًا وَهَلَّلَ عَشْرًا ثُمَّ قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ ضِيقِ الدُّنْيَا وَضِيقِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " . عَشْرًا ثُمَّ يَفْتَتِحُ الصَّلاَةَ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Shariq al-Hawzani narrates: I came to Hadrat Aishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) and asked her: With what words did the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) begin when he woke up at night? She submitted: You have asked me about something that no one before you has asked me. When he would wake up at night, he would say the takbir (Allahu Akbar) ten times, praise Allah (Alhamdulillah) ten times, say 'Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him' ten times, say 'Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy' ten times, seek forgiveness ten times, say 'There is no god but Allah' ten times, then say: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the constriction of this world and the constriction of the Day of Resurrection' ten times, and then he would begin his prayer.
اردو ترجمہ
شریق ہوزنی فرماتے ہیں کہ میں حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جب رات کو بیدار ہوتے تو کن کلمات سے آغاز فرماتے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: تم نے مجھ سے ایسی بات پوچھی ہے جو تم سے پہلے کسی نے نہیں پوچھی۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جب رات کو بیدار ہوتے تو دس مرتبہ تکبیر کہتے، دس مرتبہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی حمد کرتے، دس مرتبہ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ کہتے، دس مرتبہ سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ کہتے، دس مرتبہ استغفار کرتے، دس مرتبہ لا الہ الا اللہ کہتے، پھر فرماتے: اے اللہ! میں دنیا کی تنگی اور قیامت کے دن کی تنگی سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، یہ دس مرتبہ کہتے، پھر نماز شروع فرماتے۔
