حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ كَانَ خَاتَمُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ فِضَّةٍ كُلُّهُ فَصُّهُ مِنْهُ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) wished to write to the non-Arab kings, but was informed that they would not accept a letter without a seal. So he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) had a silver ring made upon which 'Muhammad Rasul Allah' (Muhammad, the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) was engraved.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے عجم (غیر عرب) کے بادشاہوں کو خط لکھنا چاہا تو آپ کو بتایا گیا کہ وہ بغیر مہر کا خط قبول نہیں کرتے۔ تو آپ نے چاندی کی ایک انگوٹھی بنوائی جس پر «محمد رسول اللہ» کندہ تھا۔
