حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الشَّامِيِّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمَنْبِهِيِّ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا سَافَرَ كَانَ آخِرُ عَهْدِهِ بِإِنْسَانٍ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ فَاطِمَةَ وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهَا إِذَا قَدِمَ فَاطِمَةَ فَقَدِمَ مِنْ غَزَاةٍ لَهُ وَقَدْ عَلَّقَتْ مِسْحًا أَوْ سِتْرًا عَلَى بَابِهَا وَحَلَّتِ الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ قُلْبَيْنِ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ فَقَدِمَ فَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ فَظَنَّتْ أَنَّ مَا مَنَعَهُ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ مَا رَأَى فَهَتَكَتِ السِّتْرَ وَفَكَّكَتِ الْقُلْبَيْنِ عَنِ الصَّبِيَّيْنِ وَقَطَعَتْهُ بَيْنَهُمَا فَانْطَلَقَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُمَا يَبْكِيَانِ فَأَخَذَهُ مِنْهُمَا وَقَالَ " يَا ثَوْبَانُ اذْهَبْ بِهَذَا إِلَى آلِ فُلاَنٍ " . أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ بِالْمَدِينَةِ " إِنَّ هَؤُلاَءِ أَهْلُ بَيْتِي أَكْرَهُ أَنْ يَأْكُلُوا طَيِّبَاتِهِمْ فِي حَيَاتِهِمُ الدُّنْيَا يَا ثَوْبَانُ اشْتَرِ لِفَاطِمَةَ قِلاَدَةً مِنْ عَصَبٍ وَسِوَارَيْنِ مِنْ عَاجٍ " .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Thawban, the freed slave of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), narrates: When the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) went on a journey, the last member of his family he would visit was Sayyidah Hadrat Fatimah al-Zahra (may Allah be well pleased with her), and the first he would visit upon his return was also her. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) returned from an expedition and she had hung a coarse cloth or curtain at her door and had adorned Hadrat Hasan and Hadrat Husayn (may Allah be well pleased with them both) with silver bracelets. When he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) arrived, he did not enter. Sayyidah Hadrat Fatimah understood that what he had seen was the reason he had not entered. She tore down the curtain, unfastened the bracelets from the two young masters, and cut them in pieces before them. They went weeping to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) took the pieces from them and stated: O Hadrat Thawban, take this to such-and-such family in Madinah. These are my Ahl al-Bayt (People of the Household); I dislike that they should enjoy their good things in the life of this world. O Hadrat Thawban, purchase for Hadrat Fatimah a necklace of asb (coral beads) and two bracelets of ivory.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ثوبان مولیٰ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جب سفر پر تشریف لے جاتے تو اپنے اہلِ خانہ میں سب سے آخر میں سیدہ فاطمہ الزہراء رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے ملتے اور واپس تشریف لاتے تو سب سے پہلے انہی سے ملاقات فرماتے۔ آپ ایک غزوہ سے تشریف لائے تو انہوں نے اپنے دروازے پر ایک ٹاٹ یا پردہ لٹکا رکھا تھا اور حضرت حسن و حسین رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما کو چاندی کے دو کنگن پہنا رکھے تھے۔ آپ تشریف لائے تو اندر داخل نہیں ہوئے۔ سیدہ فاطمہ سمجھ گئیں کہ آپ نے جو کچھ دیکھا اسی نے آپ کو داخل ہونے سے روکا ہے۔ چنانچہ انہوں نے پردہ پھاڑ ڈالا اور دونوں صاحبزادوں سے کنگن اتار لیے اور کاٹ کر ان کے سامنے رکھ دیے۔ وہ دونوں روتے ہوئے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آئے۔ آپ نے ان سے وہ (ٹکڑے) لیے اور فرمایا: ثوبان! اسے مدینہ کے فلاں گھرانے کو دے آؤ۔ یہ لوگ میرے اہلِ بیت ہیں، مجھے ناپسند ہے کہ یہ اپنی لذتوں کو دنیا ہی میں لوٹ لیں۔ اے ثوبان! فاطمہ کے لیے عصب (مونگے) کا ایک ہار اور ہاتھی دانت کے دو کنگن خرید لاؤ۔
