حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَجُلاً، مِنْ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لُدِغْتُ اللَّيْلَةَ فَلَمْ أَنَمْ حَتَّى أَصْبَحْتُ . قَالَ " مَاذَا " . قَالَ عَقْرَبٌ . قَالَ " أَمَا إِنَّكَ لَوْ قُلْتَ حِينَ أَمْسَيْتَ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ لَمْ تَضُرَّكَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ " .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Salih (upon him be mercy) states that he heard a Companion from the Aslam tribe say: I was sitting in the presence of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) when one of his Companions came and submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), something bit me last night, and I could not sleep until morning. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) asked: What was it? He submitted: A scorpion. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: Listen! Had you said in the evening: 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created' — then, Allah willing, it would not have harmed you.
اردو ترجمہ
ابوصالح رحمۃ اللہ علیہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے قبیلہ اسلم کے ایک صحابی سے سنا کہ انہوں نے فرمایا: میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں بیٹھا ہوا تھا کہ آپ کے صحابہ میں سے ایک شخص آئے اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! آج رات مجھے کسی چیز نے کاٹ لیا جس سے میں صبح تک سو نہ سکا۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے پوچھا: کیا تھا؟ اس نے عرض کیا: بچھو۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: سنو! اگر تم شام کو یہ کہہ لیتے: «أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق» میں اللہ کے کامل کلمات کی پناہ چاہتا ہوں اس کی تمام مخلوق کی برائی سے — تو ان شاء اللہ وہ تمہیں نقصان نہ پہنچاتا۔
