حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ النَّمَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلاَقَةَ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ، قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَصْحَابُهُ كَأَنَّمَا عَلَى رُءُوسِهِمُ الطَّيْرُ فَسَلَّمْتُ ثُمَّ قَعَدْتُ فَجَاءَ الأَعْرَابُ مِنْ هَا هُنَا وَهَا هُنَا فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَتَدَاوَى فَقَالَ " تَدَاوَوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَمْ يَضَعْ دَاءً إِلاَّ وَضَعَ لَهُ دَوَاءً غَيْرَ دَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ الْهَرَمُ " .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Usamah ibn Sharik (may Allah be well pleased with him) states that I came to the presence of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). His Companions were sitting in such stillness as though birds were perched upon their heads. I offered greetings and sat down. Then some desert-dwellers came from here and there and submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), should we seek medical treatment? He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: Seek medical treatment, for Allah the Mighty and Majestic has not created any disease without creating its cure, save one disease, and that is old age.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت اسامہ بن شریک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، آپ کے صحابہ کرام اس طرح بیٹھے تھے گویا ان کے سروں پر پرندے بیٹھے ہیں (یعنی نہایت ادب و سکون سے)، میں نے سلام عرض کیا پھر بیٹھ گیا، اتنے میں ادھر ادھر سے بادیہ نشین آئے اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! کیا ہم دوا کریں؟ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: دوا کرو کیونکہ اللہ عزوجل نے کوئی بیماری ایسی نہیں بنائی جس کی دوا نہ بنائی ہو سوائے ایک بیماری کے اور وہ بڑھاپا ہے۔
