حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ بَنِي سُوَاءَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَغْسِلُ رَأْسَهُ بِالْخِطْمِيِّ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ يَجْتَزِئُ بِذَلِكَ وَلاَ يَصُبُّ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha Siddiqah (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would wash his blessed head with marshmallow (khitmi, a plant used for cleaning) while in the state of janabah. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would consider that sufficient and would not pour additional water over it.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم حالتِ جنابت میں اپنا سرِ مبارک خِطمی (ایک پودا) سے دھوتے اور اسی پر اکتفا فرماتے، اور اس پر (مزید) پانی نہیں بہاتے تھے۔
