حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الأَنْبَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم اضْطَبَعَ فَاسْتَلَمَ وَكَبَّرَ ثُمَّ رَمَلَ ثَلاَثَةَ أَطْوَافٍ وَكَانُوا إِذَا بَلَغُوا الرُّكْنَ الْيَمَانِيَ وَتَغَيَّبُوا مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ مَشَوْا ثُمَّ يَطْلُعُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ يَرْمُلُونَ تَقُولُ قُرَيْشٌ كَأَنَّهُمُ الْغِزْلاَنُ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَكَانَتْ سُنَّةً .
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Hadrat Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) performed idtiba' (arranged his mantle under his right arm and over his left shoulder), then touched the Black Stone and proclaimed the takbir, then performed ramal in three circuits. When the noble Companions (may Allah be well pleased with them all) reached the Yamani Corner and disappeared from the sight of the Quraysh, they would walk normally; then when they came back into their view, they would perform ramal. The Quraysh exclaimed: It is as though they are deer! Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) says: Thus this practice became an established sunnah.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اضطباع فرمایا، پھر حجرِ اسود کا استلام فرمایا اور تکبیر ارشاد فرمائی، پھر تین چکروں میں رَمَل فرمایا۔ جب صحابۂ کرام رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہم رکنِ یمانی پر پہنچتے اور قریش کی نظروں سے اوجھل ہو جاتے تو عام چال چلتے، پھر جب قریش کے سامنے آتے تو رَمَل فرماتے۔ قریش کہتے تھے: گویا یہ لوگ ہرن ہیں! حضرت ابنِ عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں: پس یہ عمل سنت ہو گیا۔
