Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لاَ يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ شَيْئًا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
English Translation
Hadrat Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever provides the food for a fasting person to break his fast with, then for him is the same reward as his (the fasting person's), without anything being diminished from the reward of the fasting person
Urdu Translation
حضرت زید بن خالد جہنی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جس نے کسی روزہ دار کو افطار کرایا تو اسے بھی اس کے برابر ثواب ملے گا، بغیر اس کے کہ روزہ دار کے ثواب میں سے ذرا بھی کم کیا جائے“۔ امام ترمذی فرماتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔
