Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10250 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ قَالَا ثنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ «سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْغَدَاةِ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ وَقُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ»
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever drinks wine, Allah does not accept his prayer for forty days. If he repents, Allah accepts his repentance. If he returns, Allah does not accept his prayer for forty days. If he repents, Allah accepts his repentance. If he does it a third time, it is upon Allah to give him to drink from the River of Khabal." They said: "And what is the River of Khabal?" He said: "The pus of the people of the Fire."
