Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10172a حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو وَأَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالُوا ثنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ وَعَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ أَنَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُ فِي كُلِّ رَفْعٍ وَوَضْعٍ وَقِيَامٍ وَقُعُودٍ وَيُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَشِمَالِهِ «السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ» حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ
English Translation
'Abdullah said: I saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) make the takbir (say "Allahu Akbar") with every rising and lowering, standing and sitting, and he would give the salutation to his right and to his left: "Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah" — until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen.
