English Translation
Ali ibn Abd al-Aziz and Abdullah ibn Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated to us, from Harun ibn Ma'ruf, from Makhlad ibn Yazid, from Bashir ibn Sulayman, from Sayyar Abu al-Hakam, from Tariq ibn Shihab, from Ibn Mas'ud who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The Hour has drawn near, and it only increases in distance from the people (i.e., people only grow further from righteousness).'
