English Translation
Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated from Abd al-Razzaq, from al-Thawri, from Mansur, from Abu Wa'il who said: A man among us named Khuthaym ibn Adda' complained of a stomach ailment, and dates were soaked for him (to make a drink). Abdullah said: 'Indeed, Allah the Almighty would not place your cure in what He has forbidden for you.'
