English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ali al-Sa'igh narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Mansur, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, from Hammam ibn al-Harith, from Amr ibn Shurahbil that Ma'qil ibn Muqarrin came to Abdullah and said that he had forbidden himself from his bed. Abdullah recited: {O you who believe, do not make unlawful the good things which Allah has made lawful for you} [5:87]. 'Free a slave.'
