Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9678 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ "عَنْ عَلِىٍّ قَالَ: الطَّلَاقُ وَالعِدَّةُ بِالْمَرْأَةِ".
English Translation
Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated from Abd al-Razzaq, from al-Thawri, from Ash'ath, from al-Sha'bi, from Ibn Mas'ud who said: 'From Ali, he said: Divorce and the waiting period are determined by the woman (i.e., according to her status as free or slave).'
