Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9654 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ وَابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ «إِنِ اخْتَارَتْ نَفْسَهَا فَهِيَ وَاحِدَةٌ وَإِنِ اخْتَارَتْ زَوْجَهَا فَلَا شَيْءَ»
English Translation
Ishaq narrated from Abd al-Razzaq, from al-Thawri, from Hammad, from Ibrahim who said: Umar and Ibn Mas'ud said: 'If she chooses herself, it counts as one divorce. If she chooses her husband, it counts for nothing.'
