Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9638 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ قَالَ آلَى النُّعْمَانُ مِنِ امْرَأَتِهِ وَكَانَ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ فَضَرَبَ فَخِذَهُ وَقَالَ «إِذَا مَضَتْ أَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ فَاعْتَرِفْ بِتَطْلِيقَةٍ»
English Translation
Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated from Abd al-Razzaq, from Ibn Uyaynah, from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah who said: Al-Nu'man took an oath of abstinence from his wife while sitting with Ibn Mas'ud. He struck his thigh and said: 'When four months pass, acknowledge it as one divorce.'
