Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9518 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زُهَيْرٌ ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ وَعَلْقَمَةَ وَمَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّهُ «كَانَ يُكَبِّرُ بِتِسْعٍ فِي الْأَضْحَى وَالْفِطْرِ يَقُومُ فَيُكَبِّرُ أَرْبَعًا ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُ ثُمَّ يُكَبِّرُ وَاحِدَةً فَيَرْكَعُ بِهَا ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَقْرَأُ وَيُكَبِّرُ أَرْبَعًا يَرْكَعُ بِوَاحِدَةٍ»
English Translation
Al-Aswad, Alqamah, and Masruq reported from Abdullah that he used to make nine takbirs in the Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr: he would stand and make four takbirs, then recite, then make one takbir and bow with it. Then he would stand and recite, then make four takbirs, bowing with one of them.
