Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9445 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُدَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبْطَنُ النَّاسِ بِعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ «إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ قَامَ فَرَكَعَ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ يَقْرَأُ فِيهِنَّ سُورَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْمِئِينَ فَإِذَا تَجَاوَبَ الْمُؤَذِّنُونَ شَدَّ عَلَيْهِ ثِيَابَهُ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ»
English Translation
From the companions of Ibn Mas'ud, he used to say: 'When the sun passes its zenith, he would stand and pray four rak'ahs, reciting in them two surahs from the Mi'in (those with approximately one hundred verses). When the muezzins called each other, he would put on his garments and go out to pray.'
