Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9175 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ فَيَّاضٍ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ «مَا يُؤْمَنُ الرَّجُلُ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ قَبْلَ الْإِمَامِ أَنْ يَعُودَ رَأْسُهُ رَأْسَ كَلْبٍ لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ يَرْفَعُونَ أَبْصَارَهُمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ أَوْ لَا تَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهِمْ»
English Translation
Abdullah said: "A man is not safe if he raises his head before the imam, lest his head be turned into the head of a dog. People who raise their gazes to the sky should certainly stop, or they will not return to them."
