Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9117 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا حُدَيْجُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ فِي قَوْلِهِ {وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ} قَالَ «الزِّينَةُ السِّوَارُ وَالدُّمْلُجُ وَالْخَلْخَالُ وَالْأَدَبُ وَالْقُرْطُ وَالْقِلَادَةُ وَمَا ظَهَرَ هِي الثِّيَابُ وَالْجِلْبَابُ»
English Translation
Abdullah said regarding the verse 'And let them not display their adornment': "The adornment refers to the bracelet, the armband, the anklet, the ornaments, the earring, and the necklace. And what is apparent thereof is the clothing and the outer garment (jilbab)."
