Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8733 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ «مَنْ قَرَأَ الْأَعْرَافَ وَالنَّجْمَ وَاقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ فَشَاءَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ بِآخِرِهِنَّ رَكَعَ أَجْزَأَهُ سُجُودُ الرُّكُوعِ وَإِنْ سَجَدَ فَلْيُضِفْ إِلَيْهَا سُورَةً»
English Translation
Ibn Mas'ud said: "Whoever recites Surah al-A'raf, al-Najm, and Surah al-'Alaq and wishes to bow at their end, the bowing suffices for the prostration. If he prostrates, he should add another surah (before the next ruku')."
