Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8599 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْهَجَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ «§مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَلْقَى اللهَ غَدًا مُسْلِمًا فَلْيُحَافِظْ عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ الْمَكْتُوبَاتِ حَيْثُ يُنَادَى بِهِنَّ فَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ شَرَعَ لِنَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ سُنَنَ الْهُدَى وَإِنَّهُنَّ مِنْ سُنَنِ الْهُدَى وَلَوْ صَلَّيْتُمْ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ كَمَا يُصَلِّي هَذَا الْمُتَخَلِّفُ فِي بَيْتِهِ لَتَرَكْتُمْ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ وَلَوْ تَرَكْتُمْ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ لَضَلَلْتُمْ وَلَقَدْ أَتَى عَلَيْنَا زَمَانٌ وَمَا يَتَخَلَّفُ عَنْهُنَّ إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ بَيِّنٌ نِفَاقُهُ وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ الرَّجُلَ يُهَادَى بَيْنَ الرَّجُلَيْنِ حَتَّى يَقُومَ فِي الصَّفِّ»
English Translation
'Abdullah said: "Whoever would be pleased to meet Allah tomorrow as a Muslim, let him maintain the prescribed prayers where the call is made for them. Allah Most High has prescribed for your Prophet (peace be upon him) the ways of guidance, and they are from the ways of guidance. If you were to pray in your houses as this laggard prays in his house, you would have abandoned the practice of your Prophet, and if you abandoned the practice of your Prophet, you would go astray."
