Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8341 حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ قَالَ قَدِمْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَبِي وَجَعٌ فَقَالَ اجْعَلْ يَدَكَ الْيُمْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قُلْ بِسْمِ اللهِ أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ فَفَعَلْتُ فَكَفَانِي اللهُ ﷻ
English Translation
Uthman ibn Abi al-As said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) while I had a pain. He said: 'Place your right hand on it and say: In the name of Allah, I seek refuge in the might of Allah and His power from the evil of what I find — seven times.' I did so and Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, sufficed me.
