Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8205 حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا غُنْدَرٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَغَزَوْتُ فِي خِلَافَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ؓ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا وَأَرْبَعِينَ مِنْ بَيْنِ غَزْوَةٍ إِلَى سَرِيَّةٍ»
English Translation
Tariq ibn Shihab said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and fought during the caliphates of Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) in thirty-three or forty-three campaigns and expeditions.'
