English Translation
Abu Umamah said: The heads of the Azariqah, seventy heads, came and were set up on the steps of Damascus for seven days. Three days of the seven had passed, and on the fourth day Abu Umamah came and prayed two rak'ahs at a pillar and said: "Dogs of the Fire" - three times - "the worst of those killed under the shadow of the sky; the best of those killed under the shadow of the sky are those whom they killed." I said: "O Abu Umamah, is this something you heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) or something you say on your own?" He said: "I would indeed be bold. No, rather I heard it from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) not once, not twice - until he reached seven."
