Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7989 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحُصْرِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ اللَّيْثِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْكَاسَعُونِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْكَبِيرِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ عَنْ فِطْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ بَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ جَالِسٌ إِذْ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مَعَهَا وَلَدُهَا تَحْمِلُ بَعْضَهُمْ وَيَمْشِي بَعْضُهُمْ فَسَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمْ تَسْأَلْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهَا لَهَا فَطَلَعَتْ تَمْشِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «حَامِلَاتٌ وَالِدَاتٌ رَحِيمَاتٌ بِأَوْلَادِهِنَّ لَوْلَا مَا يَأْتِينَ إِلَى أَزْوَاجِهِنّ�� دَخَلَ مُصَلِّيَاتُهُنَّ الْجَنَّةَ»
English Translation
Abu Umamah said: While the Prophet (peace be upon him) was sitting, a woman came carrying some of her children while others walked alongside her. She asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he did not refuse her anything she asked for that day. As she walked away, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "They carry children, give birth, and are compassionate to their children. Were it not for what they do to their husbands, those among them who pray would enter Paradise."
