Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7574 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ تُوُفِّيَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصُّفَّةِ فَوُجِدَ فِي مِئْزَرِهِ دِينَارٌ فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ «كَيَّةٌ» ثُمَّ تُوُفِّيَ آخَرُ فَوُجِدَ فِي مِئْزَرِهِ دِينَارَانِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «كَيَّتَانِ»
English Translation
Abu Umamah reported: A man from the People of the Suffah died and a dinar was found in his garment. The Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) said, 'A branding.' Then another one died and two dinars were found in his garment. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, 'Two brandings.'
