Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7510 حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْيَاطِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الرَّحَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَسْتَمْتِعُ بِالْحَرِيرِ مَنْ يَرْجُو أَيَّامَ اللهِ»
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'When it is Friday, the angels stand at the doors of the mosque recording the people in order of their arrival. When the imam sits down, they fold up their scrolls and come to listen to the remembrance.'
