Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:6740 حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَاقِي الْمِصِّيصِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ لُوَيْنٌ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا مَحْذُورَةَ كَيْفَ كُنْتَ تُؤَذِّنُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ؟ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ كُنْتَ تَجْعَلُ آخِرَ أَذَانِكَ؟ قَالَ كُنْتُ «أُثَنِّي الْأَذَانَ وَأُثَنِّي الْإِقَامَةَ وَأَجْعَلُ آخِرَ أذَانِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ»
English Translation
I asked Abu Mahdhura: 'How did you call the adhan for the Prophet (peace be upon him)? What did you place at the end of your adhan?' He said: 'I would repeat the adhan and repeat the iqamah, and I would make the last part of my adhan: La ilaha illallah.'
