Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5959 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا حَازِمٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا وَمَوْضِعُ سَوْطِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»
English Translation
Sahl ibn Sa'd said: I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "A morning or evening spent in the cause of Allah is better than the world and all that is in it, and a space in Paradise equal to a whip is better than the world and all that is in it."
