Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5949 حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا الصَّلْتُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي الْخَنْدَقِ وَنَحْنُ نَحْفُرُ وَهُوَ يَنْقُلُ التُّرَابَ فَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ لَا عَيْشَ إِلَّا عَيْشُ الْآخِرَةِ فَاغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ وَالْمُهَاجِرَةِ»
English Translation
Sahl ibn Sa'd said: We were with the Prophet (peace be upon him) at the trench while we were digging and he was carrying dirt. He said: "O Allah, there is no life except the life of the Hereafter, so forgive the Ansar and the Emigrants."
