Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5925 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُهَيْمِنِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ «دُعِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِلَى وَلِيمَةِ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقُمْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حِينَ دُعِيَ فَأَطْعَمَنَا خُبْزًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ ثُمَّ إِنَّ الْخَادِمَ الَّتِي تُطْعِمُنَا الطَّعَامَ وتَسْقِينَا الشَّرَابَ لَلْعَرُوسُ الَّتِي بِهَا»
English Translation
Sahl ibn Sa'd said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) was invited to the wedding feast of a man from the Ansar. We went with the Prophet (peace be upon him) when he was invited, and we were served barley bread. The servant who served us food and drink was the bride herself.
