حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ خَوَّاتٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ قَالَ
English Translation
Sahl ibn Abi Hathmah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade the sale of fruit until they become edible (ripe), saying: "What would one of you buy — he would buy fruit, and if his brother found it defective, what would make it lawful for him to take his brother's money?"
