Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5512 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَنْبَسَةَ الْوَرَّاقُ ثنا سَيَّارُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ نَبْهَانَ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ حِذْيَمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَوْ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ أَشْرَفَتْ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ لَمَلَأَتِ الْأَرْضَ رِيحَ مِسْكٍ وَلَأَذْهَبَتْ ضَوْءَ الشَّمْسِ وَالْقَمَرِ» وَإِنِّي وَاللهِ مَا كُنْتُ لِأَخْتَارَكِ عَلَيْهِنَّ وَدَفَعَ فِي صَدْرِهَا يَعْنِي امْرَأَتَهُ
English Translation
Sa'id ibn 'Amir ibn Hidhyam said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "If a woman from the people of Paradise were to look down at the earth, she would fill it with the fragrance of musk and would outshine the light of the sun and the moon." He said: "By Allah, I would not choose you over them," and he pushed his wife's chest.
