English Translation
Wa'il ibn Hujr said: A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) with another man and said: "This man took my property." The Prophet said: "Do you have evidence?" He said: "No." He said: "Then he must take an oath." The man said: "O Messenger of Allah, he is a wicked man who does not care about swearing an oath." The Prophet said: "You have nothing but that."
