Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:4211 حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ دِرْهَمٍ أَنَّ دِرْهَمًا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ جِئْتُكَ أَسْتَفْتِيكَ فِي الْغَزْوِ قَالَ «لَكَ أُمٌّ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ «فَالْزَمْهَا»
English Translation
Dirham came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: "I have come to ask your ruling about going on a military expedition." He said: "Do you have a mother?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then stay with her (and serve her)."
