Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:4155 حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجُعْفِيُّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنِ الرُّكَيْنِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يَسِيرِ بْنِ عَمِيلَةَ عَنْ خُرَيْمِ بْنِ فَاتِكٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «النَّاسُ أَرْبَعَةٌ وَالْأَعْمَالُ سِتَّةٌ مُوَسَّعٌ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمُوَسَّعٌ لَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَمَقْتُورٌ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَمَقْتُورٌ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا مَقْتُورٌ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَمُوَسَّعٌ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مَقْتُورٌ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْأَعْمَالُ سِتَّةٌ مُوجِبَتَانِ وَمِثْلٌ بِمِثْلٍ وَعَشْرَةُ أَضْعَافِهِ وَسَبْعُمِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ مَنْ مَاتَ مُسْلِمًا أَوْ مُؤْمِنًا لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَنْ مَاتَ كَافِرًا أُدْخِلَ النَّارَ وَمَنْ هَمَّ بِحَسَنَةٍ حَتَّى يُشْعِرَهَا قَلْبَهُ كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةٌ لَا تُضَاعَفُ وَمَنْ عَمِلَ سَيِّئَةً كُتِبَتْ عَلَيْهِ سَيِّئَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ لَمْ تُضَاعَفْ عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ عَمِلَ حَسَنَةً كُتِبَتْ لَهُ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِهَا وَمَنْ أَنْفَقَ نَفَقَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كُتِبَتْ لَهُ سَبْعُمِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ»
English Translation
Khuraym ibn Fatik al-Asadi reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: "People are of four types and deeds are of six types. One given abundance in this world and the Hereafter, one given abundance in this world but restriction in the Hereafter, one given restriction in this world but restriction in the Hereafter, and one given abundance in the Hereafter but restriction in this world. The deeds are six: two that are obligating, like for like, ten-fold, and seven hundred-fold. Whoever dies as a Muslim or believer, not associating anything with Allah, will be admitted to Paradise. Whoever dies as a disbeliever will be admitted to the Fire. Whoever intends a good deed until he embraces it in his heart, one good deed is recorded for him without multiplication. Whoever commits a bad deed, one bad deed is recorded against him without multiplication. Whoever performs a good deed, ten like it are recorded. And whoever spends in the cause of Allah, seven hundred-fold is recorded for him."
