Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2923 حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُرِيدَ عَلَى بِنْتِ حَمْزَةَ فَقَالَ «إِنَّهَا بِنْتُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ وَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ»
English Translation
Ibn 'Abbas reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was urged to marry the daughter of Hamzah. He said: "She is the daughter of my brother through breastfeeding, and Allah makes unlawful through breastfeeding what He makes unlawful through lineage."
