Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2521 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ سَيَّارٍ عَنْ عَزَّةَ بِنْتِ عِيَاضٍ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا قِرْصَافَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «ابْنُوا الْمَسَاجِدَ وَأَخْرِجُوا الْقُمَامَةَ مِنْهَا فَمَنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ» قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَهَذِهِ الْمَسَاجِدُ الَّتِي تُبْنَى فِي الطَّرِيقِ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإِخْرَاجُ الْقُمَامَةِ مِنْهَا مُهُورُ حُورِ الْعِينِ
English Translation
Abu Qirsafah said he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "Build mosques and remove the refuse from them. Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, even these mosques that are built along the roads?" He said: "Yes. And removing the refuse from them is the dowry of the houris of Paradise."
