Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:238a حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ «قُتِلَ الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ ؓ يَوْمَ الْجَمَلِ فِي جُمَادَى لَا أَدْرِي الْأُولَى أَوِ الْآخِرَةِ سَنَةَ سِتٍّ وَثَلَاثِينَ»
English Translation
Al-Zubayr ibn al-Awwam was killed on the Day of the Camel in Jumada — I do not know whether the first or the second — of the year thirty-six.
