Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1754 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الطَّائِفِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَا مُعَاذُ إِنِّي مُرْسِلُكَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ أَهْلِ كِتَابٍ فَإِذَا سُأِلْتَ عَنِ الْمَجَرَّةِ الَّتِي فِي السَّمَاءِ فَقُلْ هِيَ لُعَابُ حَيَّةٍ تَحْتَ الْعَرْشِ
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Every intoxicant is forbidden. Indeed, there is a covenant from Allah upon whoever drinks intoxicants that He will give him to drink from the Tinah of Khabal." They said: "What is the Tinah of Khabal, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "The sweat of the people of the Fire" — or "the pus of the people of the Fire."
